Established in 1977 Clinton Vineyards has, in the tradition of the premium estate vineyards of France, chosen to specialize in growing one grape, Seyval Blanc. From this grape four sparkling wines, made in the French méthode champenoise, a table wine and a late harvest dessert wine are made. In 2011, JUBILEE champagne was acclaimed as the BEST WINE PRODUCED IN THE HUDSON VALLEY. The portfolio also includes dessert wines made from locally grown fruits. Clinton Vineyards' CASSIS, a black currant wine, is the only CASSIS made in the United States to win Gold Medals in International Competition.
